A monthly block of Japanese-speaking hands, staffed by our team, not by one freelancer.
Onmitsu has run a remote assistant team for Japanese clients for years. The Japan Desk is that same team, working in English for you: email, phone calls, forms, scheduling, follow-up — the ordinary administrative work that becomes impossible from another time zone in another language.
Everything that goes out in Japanese is written by a native speaker. That matters more than it sounds: machine translation produces Japanese that is grammatically correct and unmistakably synthetic, and a Japanese recipient reads it as a sign that nobody Japanese-speaking is behind your company.
Every account has a named assistant and a named backup, so the work does not stop when one person is away. That is the difference between hiring a team and hiring an individual.

About this service
Is this the same as hiring an employee in Japan?
No, and that is the point. This is a service contract with Onmitsu Inc. You do not establish an entity, run a Japanese payroll, or take on employment obligations. You brief us, and we allocate the work internally.
What happens to unused hours?
Up to 20% of your monthly hours roll into the following month. Beyond that they lapse — we staff capacity in advance, so hours cannot accumulate indefinitely.
Can the assistant use our systems?
Yes, on the Standard and Dedicated tiers. We sign your NDA first, and we can work inside your email, CRM, shared drive or ticketing system.
